The mobilux magnifiers are useful both at home or while out and about, for example, for reading telephone directories, price labels in a shop or map reading in the car.

Correct illumination can reduce the magnification requirements by one to two magnification values.

The new folding and detachable dust protection cap offers optimum lens protection when the magnifier is carried in a bag or rucksack whilst not in use. The LED light does not require changing. The LED light used by Eschenbach has an unlimited service life. The colour of the LED light is extremely rich in contrast. Up to 10x longer battery life in comparison to conventional bulbs. Large, easy-to-operate light switch. Easy battery change. When changing the batteries the upper and lower sides of the housing remain connected via the hinge and can be easily closed. Maximum image quality is achieved by following the magnification and recommended user distances stated on the magnifier.

These magnifiers are particularly suitable for users who cannot hold magnifiers freely (e.g. age-related shaking or Parkinson's disease). As the magnifiers rest directly on the reading material when used and are not held freely in the hand, they are ideal for reading over long periods of time. COIL Pocket Magnifiers

Designed to be entirely portable, the Illuminated Pocket Magnifier is available in two versions, the basic tungsten version and the superior LED model. Both versions have five lens combinations ranging from eight to forty dioptres. The aspheric lenses are optimised for minimum distortion and maximum clarity. The magnifier is powered by two standard AA size batteries. The LED version offers extended battery life and substantially longer bulb life. The magnifier is supplied in a protective draw string pouch.
Light source has been carefully angled to flood the viewing area with a
pool of evenly distributed light.
Simple battery replacement thanks to large finger tabs which are used to
separate the casing halves.
Ideas for use:
Carry in the pocket or handbag for general use.
Store in the car glovebox for map reading
