The Models offered cover a reasonable and
affordable price range - there are some that are a lot cheaper, but very
basic and inaccurate,
and some available that are a
lot more expensive but offering no more accuracy than these. Yamax
Digi-walker Pedometers are accepted generally as the most accurate available.
We have now added some interesting new products from Silva, the renowned compass manufacturers. These include conventional pedometers, and pole mounted pedometers.
Accuracy is the key word - all Pedometers that measure distance travelled
should have a stride adjustment to cater
for
your needs, be you 4'10" or 6'6". The important thing when you
first use your Pedometer is to walk/jog/run a measured distance, with the
stride
adjustment set in the middle - you then adjust this up or down depending
as to whether you have under or over recorded. Cover the same distance
again
in the same mode, fine tune, up or down again, and you should then be recording
accurately the distance covered.

We offer each pedometer with or without
a security strap, where appropriate.
