This special limited edition was produced for Silvas 75th anniversary and includes a genuine leather case with belt loop and a presentation box.

The Silva Ranger 16 is the perfect sighting compass for all navigation on land and at sea. It has a large sighting mirror with a sighting hole for the most accurate bearings and a transparent base plate for easy map work. Mm and inch map measuring scales for either metric or imperial use. Soft, easy-grip compass housing in DryflexTM with built in declination scale.  
Sapphire jewel bearing for friction free movement of the compass needle.
Durable hot-stamping of scales/graduations.
Rounded base plate design.
Patented red/black orienting lines inside the compass housing.
Luminous stripe on the needle.

Silva Ranger Series
This series is specially suited for more experienced users such as backpackers, mountaineers, hunters, fishermen etc. All Ranger compasses are equipped with the patented red/black north/south lines in the capsule for quick and correct course setting, north indicator on the red end of the compass needle and luminous markings for navigation in the dark.
