The Silva Ranger 27 is a small sighting compass, ideal as a reserve compass or an ‘always-packed’ compass. Built in sun dial. Can be attached to your jacket with a safety pin, thereby allowing you to keep both hands free.  
Sapphire jewel bearing for friction free movement of the compass needle.
Durable hot-stamping of scales/graduations.
Mirror sighting for accurate bearings.
Patented red/black orienting lines inside the compass housing.
Built in sun-watch.
Pin-on jacket function for hands-free use.
Luminous markings for night navigation.

Silva Ranger Series
This series is specially suited for more experienced users such as backpackers, mountaineers, hunters, fishermen etc. All Ranger compasses are equipped with the patented red/black north/south lines in the capsule for quick and correct course setting, north indicator on the red end of the compass needle and luminous markings for navigation in the dark.

Southern Hemisphere customers. Please note that Silva are now only stocking compasses balanced for the Northern Hemisphere. They require a minimum order of 50 pieces for Southern Hemisphere balanced units. Please contact us for advice on compasses that need balancing.
